One of the most fascinating travel experiences is staying at a traditional hotel with original architecture, especially in a country which is known as the cradle of world sustainable architecture. Hotels with different features provide passengers with memorable experiences. Staying in a place with proper facilities is important to everyone, but a hotel with traditional style and architectural charm is always a temptation. For many of us, the kind of hotel and its service is more important than other parts of our travel. In Iran, there is a verity of hotels with different service and quality but there are some traditional and boutique hotel that provide the passengers with the best quality in service. Most of them were at first palace, caravanserai, manner house or simply a structure featuring traditional architecture or style, and then renovated and became hotels.
1- Laleh Hotel, Kandovan village

The hotel was originally a Safavid caravanserai (1695) named ‘’the caravanserai of King’ Mother’’, it has been said that about 150 artists of Isfahan have been gathered to create this magnificent structure. So, it’s a good chance to experience the historical atmosphere of Persian lifestyle.
3- Manouchehri Hostel, Kashan
Traditional 400 years old Manouchehri Hostel in Kashan is still one of the treasures of Persian architecture inspired by desert culture. Despite the original style of the building, a variety of good quality amenities are available to stay at. The traditional Manouchehri house of Kashan has 9 rooms overlooking the courtyard, garden and its blue pond.
4- Behrouzi House, Qazvin
Behrouzi house is a historical building dating back to the Qajar period, at least 150 years ago. The plan of this manner house includes a central courtyard and the surrounded rooms. There are also two small yards and an interior courtyard (private yard). The historical architecture, with its beautiful decorations, attract every visitor. In the courtyard, you will find a rectangular blue pond, surrounded by beds for resting and enjoying guests. Brick walls, candlesticks, restaurants and traditional teapots with wooden pallet around it beds create a comfortable condition for travellers. There is also a traditional bathroom, a restaurant and a photography studio for guests in the hotel.
5- Traditional Hotel in Yazd
There are many traditional hotels in Yazd but the oldest one is Hotel Vali dates back to Safavid dynasty (about 400 years ago). The hotel has a unique architecture base on Persian architecture style of manner houses which includes two private and public courtyards and surrounding rooms with different usage. In Persian Vali means ruler so, the house originally belonged to the ruler of Yazd. The interiors and exteriors yards adorned with charming plasterwork. There is a crypt on the way of Qanat and a blue pool at the middle of Yard that extended the beauty of the scene. The hotel is located in the historical part of Yazd completely close to the complex of Amir Chakhmaq.
